STIEBEL ELTRON WWK HW Heat Pump
GERMAN ENGINEERED DESIGNED FOR AUSTRALIAN CONDITIONS
Reduce Energy costs & create Hot Water all year around
STIEBEL ELTRON’s premium quality hot water heat pumps use free natural energy from the air to create hot water. They provide an energy-efficient, environmentally responsible solution for year-round generation of hot water using minimal energy.
Intelligent German engineered, Stiebel Eltron Heat pumps work by transferring the heat in the air outside the unit to the water stored inside through an exchange system. Basically it moves heat rather than generates heat and that is where the cost savings lie.
As early as 1976 STIEBEL ELTRON began developing heat pump technology for energy efficient hot water. The STIEBEL ELTRON WWK Hot Water Heat Pump is proving to be one of the most efficient water pumps on the market providing high energy cost savings and environmentally friendly hot water all year round. This hot water heat pump technology has been tried and tested in Germany for over forty years to ensure consumers receive real energy, environmental and money savings.
STIEBEL ELTRON Australia has been providing energy-efficient, air source hot water pumps for both the commercial and residential markets Australia wide since 1996. STIEBEL ELTRON Australia has thus rapidly been transformed into a household name synonymous with high-quality, well-engineered and energy-efficient products, including heat pumps, instantaneous water heaters, room heaters and water filters.
STIEBEL ELTRON’s air sourced hot water pumps provide energy efficient hot water all year round due to its sophisticated design. Hot water energy use can be reduced by up to 70% compared to conventional hot water electric systems in Australia. Their heat pumps are extremely versatile, they can be installed indoors and outdoors and work in lower temperatures.
WWK Domestic Hot Water Heat Pump
German Engineering, Excellent Energy Efficiency
Air Heat Pumps extract energy from the surrounding air
How does it work?
– A fan draws air through an evaporator.
Thermal energy within the air is transferred to a liquid refrigerant causing it to change into gas.
– The refrigerant gas is then drawn into a compressor which increases the pressure and, as a result, increases the temperature.
– A condenser (heat exchanger) then transports gaseous refrigerant around the outside of the water cylinder. This heats the water inside and the gaseous refrigerant reverts back into a liquid.
– The pressure of the refrigerant is reduced as it goes through an expansion valve and returns to the evaporator for the process to start all over again.
Rebates and financial incentives are offered Australia wide at a federal and state level for using hot water heaters powered by renewable energy. Additional rebates may be available from state governments or local councils.
